K&S matched on the Facebook Dating App on January 5th 2023. Kevin was suggested by the app as a 'Lucky Pick'. Stephanie thought, "why not" and swiped to connect. Kevin was so intrigued by her description, "I'm definitely looking for someone to add to my life, as I am content with where I am right now. I have a great group of friends and am at peace!" Once matched, Kevin sent the first message as a voice memo. Stephanie returned his message with a voice memo of her own. Over the next several days they exchanged 19 messages creating a safe place for vulnerability. On January 9th, they exchanged phone numbers and began having video hangouts via FaceTime. They discussed and align within Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual beliefs. K&S both were blown away at their compatibility. In time, they along with all who know them well could see that this was once in a lifetime connection.

Building on a strong emotional foundation, they took their first major step. Their first date was to take place at one of Kevin's favorite restaurants, Longhorne Steakhouse with bowling planned after. This restaurant does not do reservations and they both agreed the wait was too long. Kevin was feeling a type of way because his date plans seemed to be ruined. Stephanie was "down for whatever" allowing Kevin's anxiety to lessen. They decided to go to The Break in Daybreak. They grabbed a table upstairs and spent hours laughing and enjoying getting familiar with one another. At the end of the night, Kevin asked Stephanie if she would be willing to have breakfast with him tomorrow morning. They both agreed to have PG sleepover.

Their sleepover lasted 3 days. During these days, they sharing emotional intimacy and built a strong physical attraction. They continued to stay committed to not giving themselves fully physically yet. They believed that the physical connection was the easiest to add. They were intentional about becoming friends first. The 3 day date concluded with Kevin sharing one of his favorite polo beanies and introducing Stephanie to some of his 'Inner Circle'. Both were a very big deal!

Their connection was undeniably strong. Six days after their first, the second date included Stephanie introducing Kevin to some of her 'Inner Circle' at Flankers. After witnessing them on the dance floor together, it became clear to all who witnessed that this connection was something special.

K&S's love story continued with Kevin sharing his love of cruising with Stephanie. They enjoyed sharing many compatible joys like, soaking up the sun, get dressed up, eating fancy dinners at fancy restaurants, and tequila tastings in Mexico. While Stephanie has never been much of a gambler, she joined Kevin in several of his favorite games in the Casino. After winning big, Kevin knew that he found his lucky charm.

K&S continued deepening their love through vulnerability. Stephanie supported Kevin through the loss of his 'Pops' who passed away on January 22nd. K&S also shared their inner child with each other. They shared their healing journeys along with healed wounds with each other. They promised to protect one another and always support each other's best interest.

A major health issue like a brain tumor would end most young love stories, but this is no ordinary love story! When Kevin found out that he had a 4.3mm brain tumor, his 'I am good on my own' belief was severely tested. Stephanie looked into Kevin's eyes and said, "I don't want to scare you when I say this, in sickness and in health; I got you." Instead of the brain tumor ending their love story, it deepened this love story as it revealed a reliability and dependability that became the foundation of their commitment.

Kevin who initially did not believe in 'commitment', now was convinced that Stephanie was 'the one'. He took Stephanie to his 'Me' restaurant, where he often dated himself over the last few yers. He believed that Stephanie loved him as he loved himself, so he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes!!

In the last 8 months, K&S collected valuable information about one another's ability to healthily maintain emotional, mental, and spiritual peace. They both felt like this love story was worthy of a lifetime commitment. But how do you know if you can live a lifetime with someone? K&S both agreed that 'the only way to truly know if you can live life with someone, is to live life with them.' With this consensus, they took a major step and moved in together. They found their wonderful home in Daybreak Utah.

K&S's love blossomed. They enjoyed many amazing moments and first together, like celebrating their first Halloween together. And just like in real life, Kevin was the patient and Stephanie was his nurse.

As their 1st year together comes to a close, K&S continued to experience many firsts together. Among the most memorable was celebrating their first Christmas together in their new home...

And celebrating Stephanie's 39th Birthday in style at the Wild Rose, South Jordan UT. They continued to share their love of getting dressed up to eat at a fancy restaurant...

K&S are back on the Cruise ship for the 3rd time celebrating their 1 year anniversary of their commitment. It was in this moment that they committed to chase the sun together for ever!...

K&S's love story is blessed with incredible friends. Many of them partied hard at one or both of K&S's Glow Parties.

As a sign of their commitment to one another, K&S got matching tattoos. King and Queen!

Another major step in their love story is when Kevin shared his birthplace of Indianapolis Indiana with Stephanie on celebration of his 47th birthday. He shared the neighborhood and schools where he grew up. They visited historic sites, ate at famous restaurants, watched a Indiana Pacers game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, and visited Lucas Oil Stadium where the Indianapolis Colts play football. Stephanie met all of Kevin's family who immediately grafted her in as one of their own.

K&S are sun chasers! It's a good thing the 'the Rents' (Stephanie's parents) live in Saint George Utah. This was a special moment where after exploring the Santa Clara River Trail while riding electric scooters, the Love Birds, the Rents, Trey, and Ryder enjoyed some Bahama Bucks.

A major moment in the K&S love story is when Kevin began wearing his custom made 'Stormie' shirt proudly.

K&S celebrated their first Friendsgiving together in Saint George Utah.

K&S celebrated their 2nd New Year's Eve together in Seattle Washington.

As part of their Valentine's Day date plans, Kevin takes Stephanie ring shopping. He already knew the date that he would propose, he just needed to know which ring to do it with.

K&S go to Cancun to celebrate Stephanie's 40th Birthday. They stated at the Hard Rock Resort and had an amazing time.

K&S celebrate their 2 year anniversary at the Wild Rose restaurant. Kevin surprises Stephanie with a question, "Will you marry me?" She said yes!
